I hate iTunes AND hackers

Apr 28, 2011 13:40

Found out today that some twerp hacked my iTunes account 2 years ago and set up an allowance for himself of $20 once a year.

On one hand I have to admire the brilliance of the scheme...hack an account, don't change any of the information but set yourself up with an allowance of a low amount...something that won't raise any flags. Do this for X number of accounts and let the money roll in. If you have access to thousands of people's accounts, you could set it up so that you have money coming in each month, enough to support you and not pay taxes. Since you'd only be hitting each account once a year, odds are it would go undetected.

On the other hand, I want to punch him in the neck. HARD.

The leech's name on my account was Zachary. Probably not his real name.

His email is: hanhegjra@sohu.com
This is where paypal was sending the money to.

I strongly recommend everyone with and iTunes account check to make sure there isn't an unknown allowance set up. If there is, shut it down and change the password. It took me this long to find out because I don't log into my iTunes account...ever. I only found out because I happened to get an email from paypal AND iTunes about the transaction on a day I knew I didn't make any purchases.

Also post to facebook and twitter...I don't have those accounts, but some of you do.
The only way I can think to get back at this person...social media punch to the neck.

I don't post for almost a year and here I am bitching...
