[Reimu is outside Baal's castle. Piled neatly before her are stacks of variously-shaped wood. They are all stacked neatly, save for a few she had tried moving on her own, which are only budged from their piles ever so slightly. These are the pieces of the Hakurei Shrine as given to her by the Dark Assembly.I'm the Shrine Maiden of Gensokyo, not the ( Read more... )

I would say you are... worrying about this too much. Just because you're not home does not mean you're not from there. If your heart tells you you belong in your world, then nothing can contradict that.

...Umm, by the way, do you need any help building that?

I have a job to do there. I can't do it here. But...nevermind.

...Sure, if you don't mind.

Well, I'm a hero in the human world, and though I can't help people in there while being here, I'm pretty sure the people in this Netherworld need my help more right now.

[And with this, Almaz picks up a few pieces of the shrine with relative ease and starts reading the instructions not covered by the teacup]

...The people here?

[Reimu's seen superhuman strength. She's not surprised by that, so she simply sits and watches.]

[Talking while arranging the base of the shrine]

Yeah... I know how it feels to be separated from someone thanks to being brought here, so I imagine I must not be the only one in the Netherworld going through that situation. Sure, many of the people in here can handle this situation, and several are really lacking in the moral department, but I don't think there's anyone who wouldn't rather be home at the end of the day. With the help of all the people in here, I'm sure we can get back, or at least make this place a little more like our own worlds.

What's your name? Or am I supposed to just call you 'Hero'?

I'm Almaz von Almandine Adamant. It's nice to meet you! What's yours?

That's certainly a heroic-sounding name. I'm Reimu Hakurei, a Shrine Maiden.

...Here.

[Offers tea.]

Haha, yeah, I guess I did get lucky with the name.

Oh, thanks!

[Almaz takes the cup of tea and looks at it for a moment. He takes a sip and smiles, almost having forgotten what human food was like.]

You're going to finish the shrine, right?

heroicfanboy August 7 2009, 08:57:59 UTC
Well, I just started, so I don't know how long it will take, but I give you my word as a hero that I won't stop until it is finished!

[And with that, Almaz carefully sets the cup of tea on the ground and returns to the building.]

Excellent. In that case, you can visit and have tea and sake anytime.

Assuming you donate.
