Cute Hikaru+Sai conversation
I wanted to scan something for Hikaru's birthday but my scanner is not cooperating ¬¬ So I was looking in my folders for something and I found this. I was reminded how much I love that scene, probably because is so pretty and Heian *uses beautiful icon darling moshesque did for her*
And then I remembered something a friend translated: it's a conversation between Sai and Hikaru from one of the drama CDs. It's short but cute… I'll post it here but the translation may not be very accurate because my friend doesn't know Hikaru no Go and all this was done very quickly (I was in a hurry, she translated as fast as she could and I was taking note as fast as I could) And I don't have the track right now, so I can't check if some things (like when a character laughs) are all right.
But I guess it's OK since I'm only posting this in my journal ^^;;
Hikaru: Sai, it's your turn
Sai: *laughs*
Hikaru: Why are you laughing?
Sai: I was remembering when we met.
Hikaru: Ah! You were very lousy, getting scared of cars and excited with vending machines.
Sai: Hikaru got sick and fainted once.
Hikaru: That was your fault.
Sai: But that doesn't happen anymore.
Hikaru: Of course it doesn't!
Sai: Even if it wasn't easy, we met.
Hikaru: Yes, but because of you my life changed a lot. I never thought I'd play go.
Sai: I never thought I'd met a boy so rude and bad at go.
Hikaru: That's in the past, now I'm a lot better.
Sai: But compared to me you still have a long way to go.
Hikaru: Hmpth!
Hikaru: Hey Sai.
Sai: Yes?
Hikaru: If you have met someone like Touya, what would have happened?
Sai: Me with Touya Akira?
Hikaru: Someone like Shuusaku.
Sai: Hmm…. Yes, if it had been like that then I would have gotten the name Honinbou again.
Hikaru: …
Sai: It's just that you never let me play!
Hikaru: …
Sai: But I feel lucky because I met you.
Hikaru: Eh?
Sai: I like Hikaru's go, is straight, bright.
Hikaru: Even if you say such things I'm not going to give you anything.
Sai: Well there's still so much you have to get better with.

Sai: Hikaru.

Sai: Yoroshiku onegai shimasu (don't know how to translate)
Hikaru: Don't start getting all formal… and don't bow because it makes me uncomfortable.

Hikaru: It's your turn.
Sai: Ok, then there.
Hikaru: What was that? Owwww…
Sai: *laughs* But if it's like this then you should be the one to say "Yoroshiku onegai shimasu" to me
Hikaru: Damn! Keep watching!
