Death Note anime
I’m finally done catching up with the Death Note anime. I forgot it, but I like Light x Naomi O.o I also like Watari x Roger, if you want to know (probably not)
The first arc is definitely 1000 times better than the second Even though I love Mikami I now want pretty anime!MisaMisa icons because I not so secretly like the whole EGL thing
I liked chapter 108. Ok, I wasn’t very fond of Near becoming L (because I hate the brat), but the rest was perfect:
- Some of the things we see actually happened in the first chapter. So it was an everything-sort-of-returned-back-to-normal.
- The New Guy was Light’s classmate (and I remember this because of a yaoi doujin XD)
- Matsuda still liked Light ;_;
- Matsuda’s theory about Near using the Death Note. I’m glad we don’t know the truth, so every fan interprets that as they want.
- Kira’s cult = LOVE (and the symbolism, oh the symbolism!)
That said I hated chapters 103-107. Yes, I’m a Light fan, but I wasn’t upset because he died. I just was expecting for him to show us a clever plan and then to die or whatever, so that’s why I was terribly disappointed.
And Misa committed suicide on St. Valentine’s a year after Light’s death. This is so depressing (yes, I LIKE Misa)
Am I the only Death Note fan who hasn’t watched the movie yet? Glad to see Tatsuya Fujiwara looks more Light-like in the second movie.
