Changes to the characters weren't planned; they just occured to me while drawing the cartoon for the first time in a number of years. Faithmouse has a much larger cross, and Neverborn is blue, with slightly altered eyes.
The artifacts in the graphic are intentional, a combination of merging both optimized gif and jpg versions. I like the fact that three sizes 'read' differently. The medium size looks the most homespun.
