This library is so damned hot tonight. It annoys me to no end how we can't control the climate in individual areas of the U of L Health Sciences Commons Building. During the summer this place is freezing cold typically. I'd rather be too cold than too hot most anytime though. Unless I'm taking a shower.
Winter is here for real now. I looked at the forecast and there are no more 60F high days to look forward to. I still have the stubborn drive to walk to school in the morning twenty minutes and back in the afternoon. We'll see how long that lasts. All the exposure is slowly drying my skin out though unfortunately.
The inefficacy of U of L public transportation sometimes borders on the absurd. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I drive to school now because I have yoga at Humana Gym off campus in the morning and Gay and Lesbian Lit shortly thereafter on campus. I park my car at the stadium and walk 15 mins to class rather than take the bus from the stadium to my particular stop. The bus is so slow and stops so many times that I can save 5 minutes off my commute by just walking instead of riding. And I get a little more exercise built into my day which is always nice.
Dan and I have had 5 dates now and we are getting to know each other better and better. He is very imaginative and clever. He is a far better writer than me too I fear.
