i got the inside of my upper arm tattooed yesterday as planned despite a nasty post-black out hangover... don't ask...
the pictures aren't very clear but it's a clipper ship that says 'uss sunfish' on bottom sail, has a banner that reads 'norman' and in the waves on the back part of my arm it reads 'sailor's life'. color will be added maybe next month...
my grandfather was in the navy during WWII. he spent most of his service time on a sub called the u.s.s. sunfish. i miss my grandpa. he has an eagle tattooed on his chest and a hula girl on his forearm that he could make dance...
