but my mom DID call me at 10:30 this morning to sing happy birthday (..."even though you aren't really born yet because it's not 3:10-ish.").

also, last night, evie left me a dozen assorted colored roses in a vase on my kitchen counter. talk about the SWEETEST.
where shall i go to dinner tonight?
