The Basil Tree
"I didn't know basil grew into trees" -Em
"I don't think it's supposed to" -Me
So my very very large and tall basil plant took a dive today. Madi did it, but I blame the taunting squirrel who keeps returning to the other side of the glass.
It fell over and all four stems snapped horribly, chopping about 3 feet off the plant.
I'm sad now.
On the other hand, now i have enough fresh basil to experiement with making my own pesto.
