(no subject)
I have a fever and the glands in my neck are so swollen that I can't turn my head side to side. Boo. I am supposed to defend my shuffleboard reign tonight! How can I play shuffleboard in this condition?
There is good news though, since finishing my treatment for Giardia I feel AMAZING. I have eaten more in the last four days than I would usually eat in 2 weeks. So, I guess I'll take having a cold over a parasite. How the hell does someone have Giardia for a year without anyone knowing about it? I specifically asked my primary care physician if I could be tested for Giardia and she said the parasite tests would should catch Giardia. According to the Gastroenterologist, however, there is no test for Giardia. I swear, when I'm a physician I will listen to my patients.
