I decided to 86 the spedmas tree background and go for something a little more... lightening..
Darkness and sorrow whirl around this house currently... Winds are whistling and some form of percipitation plasters my poor sky-blue split level (Yeah, represent surburban 70's bitches!). So I went with a nice cheery picture from Texas Canyon... I really like it out there, I'll have to go back.
So what's with this weather? I like the cold. I like it when it is so cold, I have to cocoon myself in two blankets... MMMMMMM warmness. It is like a little fort I sleep in every night.
WOAH HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just saw a commercial for the Myzaki ( don't bother to go upstairs and check the spelling) film festival... I was supposed to remind you kids about that... damn...
Every Thursday night this month, TCM (CH 42 for those down with the cable of basic) is running those great films from that cool guy! Next week I think it is "Totoro" (which my avatar comes from) and "Porco Rossco." I think it is the last night of it, so check it out.. tis good stuff. Or if you want to see the other ones (Spirited Away, Monoke, Castles, and Nausicca) I think they will be showing them on the Cartoon Network... TCM is showing it Thursday at 8pm... remember Thursday at 8...
I take back everything I have said about Disney! They certainly are NOT nazis who steal animators souls in exchange for free theme park tickets. They also are not trying to take over the world by putting stragically placed fortresses disguised as theme parks with anamatronic sex slaves/ kill-bots/ puppets, who will be soon turned to kill mode and run havoc... Any people who give rights to Ted Turner to show their jelously guarded dubbed films on television are cool by me!
So it is 1130 and I don't want to be half assing viewering of Fullmetal, so... kids... Keep it real!
