I'm not dead!

Yeah so it has been a while since I posted... well I didn't feel like it. That's why!

And all the stuff I had here before dissapeared for some reason so I'll have to start again, sigh.

So the series of events all starts Saturday. I got to be a volunteer at a children's carnivale (yes, I know I added an "e" but I like this spelling better)to benefit the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital and Children's Miracle Network. It was held in Sam's Club's parking lot. I had the unique.. uhh... pleasure to working one of the two games where kids could win tickets... The game was... (drumroll)... the duck game! Yes, the game where you pick a plastic duck from a pool and see what the number is on the bottom. Yeah, I had no shade... so, until the carnivale was prematuraly ended by a rouge squall, I was out in the hot, direct sun on tar. Needless to say, I got rather nasty burns on my arms and face (today was the first day I didn't wake up in mindboggling pain, and I started to peel as well!)But it was all worth it, I know that my working the game helped in some small way to help those dying and/or sick kids.

I did get to have my face painted like a kitty tho! It wasn't my first choice, however. I first asked the person running the face painting "Could you make me look like Ryo-Oki from Tenchi Muyo?" to which the person responded "No." so I asked "Could you make me look like Gundam Wing Zero Custom from Gundam Wing?" once again, the only answer was "No." the I asked "Well, then could you make me look like Megatron from Transformers?" the person simply said "No." Lastly, I asked "How about Skeletor from He-Man" This time, I didn't even get an answer, the person merely scowled and walked away. "Ok, I'll see you later about that Skeletor then!" I called at the person. That's how the day pretty much went.

Sunday- nothing happened for I was in pain from the sunburn.

Monday- Root canal #2 day! Yes I got to have another root canal performed on my tooth with the abyss. I really miss the abyss now.. all's there is in its place is some beige crap they call a temporary filling. I got codine, which I have only used one because my teeth haven't hurt at all. And some crazy antibiotics! Get this: I get to take about fifty of the biggest green and blue horse killers I have ever seen! Huzzah! I have to take one every seven hours... or I DIE!!!! Teehee I don't know if I would die or not... my friend and I made that up. It has this weird warning... I have to drink a lot of water with it... or I DIE!!! And I can't lay down for half an hour after taking it... or I DIE!!! More friend and mine humor. Ok, so on the way back from getting the prescriptions.. my mom asks.
"Do you have enough yogurt?"
"Uhhh, may I ask why?" I replied.
"So you won't get a yeast infection."

WHAT?!? Since when does an ANTIbiotic give you a bacterial infection. Oh well, I accepted my crazy mom subject and didn't argue because, she was well... driving.

Tuesday evening- We (the second party shall remain nameless, for I do not have his permission to name him) went to the magical place of fancy known as the Old Port. We rented Steam Boy and went to this really cool place called "Bubble Maniea." This place is a tea room with treats from China, Japan, and other Asian places. They have like thousands of choices for drinks and only in one size, so it takes that choice away! But the really cool thing is... that you can "pearl" your tea! The pearls are made of tapioca and have no flavor... but make up for it with chewiness! I totally reccomend this place! The we went to the Maccaroni Grill. They screwed up our orders and it took forever so I drew all over the paper on the table and we ate so much of the bread! I don't care if that sentece was gramatically correct! I am an english major for materia's sake! I have all of the rest of my life to write good.

Wednesday- Watched Steamboy in the morning since we were too distracted to watch it the night before. It sucked! Ten years of animation for that! They should've spent less time on the graphics and more time on writing the plot. Oh well, at least I didn't buy it, right? Then we spent the rest of the day together in the Old Port and Mall Area, hitting up that tea place again. Oh yeah, Final Fantasy VII, Advent Children looks fantasticlly awesome!

Thursday- Nothing happened... I spent the whole day watching Escaflowne. Watch the last disc sometime so you can join me in saying: "What the Hell just happened?" I don't want to ruin it for all you kids who haven't seen all twenty six episodes yet.

Well, that's pretty much it... oh yeah do you guys want me to post some of my stories I wrote for RFA, creative writing(s) and English class? Well, answer me! Pffft I'm SO out of here!

Until then, my darlings.
