Quick, Danielle, UPDATE!
Less than two weeks til the new apartment and I am pleased as punch about it. Gathering furniture, starting to pack, and picking out wall colors all make me happy!
Dance coaching is next week and I'm way excited about that as well. Matt and I are scheduled to do our rumba routine four weeks from Friday, which scares the bejeezus out of me but will really help with my dance credibility around the studio. I'm teaching like crazy now, which is good, but I'm very ready to say goodbye to the receptionist half of the job and just focus on the instructor and dance part. I feel like I'm living a double life on the job, which can be a little frustrating from time to time. But i think Tony is finally getting on board with the idea, and hopefully by next week we'll be hiring a new person for behind the front desk.
Weird thing: I have not yet come to terms with the money that flies around the studio. Last night I sold a couple (my favorites in the studio!) a routine: 15 lessons for $1710. They paid it all up front. INSANITY. I can't wrap my head around the idea that in a single sale I can bring literally thousands of dollars into the studio. Very strange indeed.
I have a new painting! Photo to come, but I really like this one. I like art nights with Beth. We had a good one on Sunday.
