The good stuff
1. Thinking of Henri's death in ABM7 as the perfect audition scene for the Actor's Studio. And thinking of asking Arielle to do the audition with me in May after her tour ends in April. Now I just hope she says yes!
2. Finishing the Studio application, using my CV as my artistic resume (yes!), sending off my headshot, and writing a new personal statement that I'm really proud of. It made me sound like a theatrical force to be reckoned with. I like that.
3. Eric Forsythe's enthusiasm in sending off another recommendation letter for me. In reply to my latest email, he answered with a resounding, "Absolutely!" That made me really happy, and I got off all the forms, envelopes, and a thank you card to him that he should get by Thursday.
4. I think there is an activist girl, Killeen, who has a crush on me. I felt like she was flirting with me on Monday during all the Marriage Equality 7 festivities, and she's been getting rather interested in my daily status changes on facebook and talking to me about theatre. Maybe it's just friendliness, but I'm not often crushed upon, so I've decided to assume that's what's going on here and enjoying it. She proposed a theatre talk over coffee, and I think I'll accept and see what happens. Despite the fact that her name rhymes with Filene, which gave me a little, tiny creep-out at first. But I think I'm over it, which is good, because she's rather cute.
