today we watched a video in environmental science on volcanos (on the account that all the Jews were gone, and it's stupid Environmental science). While the ovie sucked, it did have one great attribute. It featured a short segement on a 2 french volcanologists, a husband and wife who filmed volcanic eruptions. They even admitted that filming beautiful eruptions was more important than the sceintific value of the film. they traveled all over the world and filmed many different volcanos, and used alot of vocano jargon. then i noticed...THEY WORE MATCHING RED CAPS LIKE IN THE LIFE AQUATIC!!!! The more I watched, the more I realizd it was the life aquatic gone volcano. the red ahts, extremely ineffective and ridiculous vocanic protection suits from the 60's! I loved every minute of it.Then they died at an eruption in japan. WHICH WAS HILARIOUS! because they kept saying how they wanted to see a bigger eruption-more destruction. (didnt they care about the villages and crops it destroyed?) But hey, when you drive a VW micro bus up to a crater, hiope for maagnificent and destructive and explosions, and jinx ourself the day before by saying you wouldnt regret dying in a volcano....what do you expect.
