around the time of summer holidays, i had some sort of mental block where i pretty much stopped writing anything, in diaries/journals or the computer... im not sure why, but i think it may have had something to do with me processing this experience in my own way. but im back in the loop and ready to completely enjoy the next 3months or so before they slip away!
cant believe how fast its going now.
since i last wrote, i went to tokyo during the summer holidays to meet amongst others, emma, who came all the way from gifu! luke, tom, sarah and mica came too. we met at ueno and then went to harajuku... i forget where else but it was great seeing them again :)

other days of the summer holidays i spent just chilling at home. one day i got sick of that and went for a random, rather fruitless bikeride and took a photo. plenty a room at the...
towards the near end of my summer holidays went with host family to kazu-kun and hi-chans's festival... kazu-kun did the taiko drums and it was so cute!
going back to school was a reluctant task, but now im back in the swing of things its fine. but we didnt leave it long for another catch up thankfully, so this last weekend just gone, we went to kashiwa... me for the first time. i love it, its sorta like tokyo but alot smaller and closer to me. we window shopped, and just walked around for the day, toms friend emi came who is really good at english and we all got along really well. was a funn day :)
japanese drunks are very different to japanese sobers... this girl came up and was our entertainment for a while :)

yesterday my host family took me pear-picking! it was my first time, and i sucked !!! the picking was okay, but cutting up bit was a bit embarrassing :S
took some nice photos there and it was a really pretty area... nice thing to do.
