first day at school.
it was only a 2hour day and it did fly - having to do a self introuction on stage at assembly sounded daunting but i was surprised at the amount of students... there were probably only about 80 there! and there are only 166 students in the school altogether - thats about a quarter of mossman highs population. most of the girls only managed to say to me 'sega takai!' which means really tall... and some said 'kawaii' and were delightedly surprised when i retorted 'kawaikunai'. (not cute!)
i wouldnt go as far as to say i made friends in the roughly 120min i was there but there were a few girls that i talked to the most.
the school is really pretty, sakura are everywhere. this photo doesnt really do it justice.
from now on things are going to get pretty busy i think. today i was lucky enough to have mama drop and pick me up from school but tomorrow il be all on my lonesome. its going to be an interesting 9months.
