I have always wanted a bread machine. I think when I get my own apartment, I shall live the high life with a bread machine and a rice maker and they shall be my two happy kitchen appliances.
...other than the tamagoyaki pan which doesn't count because it's a pan.
We have a bread machine - we found it at the Salvation Army store, brand-new - it was obvious it had never been used - for $4. It is made of love and win - the bread I've made in it is always cooked perfectly, and very tasty. (My favorite from scratch was the honey oatmeal - but I LOVED the sweet Hawaiian that I made from a mix my mom bought.)
(Also, in response to the crockpot comments - CROCKPOTS ARE AWESOME. Especially when used to make White Chicken Chili. :D)
