...your electronics are FREAKY. If only because of their ability to exhibit traits that directly match whatever you name them after.
As an addendum to that, you need to like more stable characters. Cause, uh, srsly.
Ban, named for Midou Ban from Get Backers is my laptop and while he's powerful, he likes to be lazy, starts up slow, and gets stubborn at me even though I can do a dozen different things at once without issue.
Hamel, my cellphone named for, well, Hamel from Violinist of Hameln is very very good... but he has this habit of randomly messing up simple things, having a VERY arbitrary battery warning, and his psiTunes ability is terrifying.
and now
Fess, named after Rod Gallowglass's metal mount, is the name I've given my new iPod. Fess, other than being very helpful, feeding his 'voice' right into Rod's ear, and actually looking like a silver basketball inside of the horse's body, has one trait that comes out the most often (and it's why he's alive): he'll have 'fits' and freeze/turn himself off when someone says/does something that goes against his logic programming.
Yeah.
Hi, iPod that will randomly freeze at certain points. *facepalm*
Own. Damn. Fault.
I tried to name it Anton, since Gorodetsky is rather dependable, but it didn't feel right.
*facepalm*
...well, it's fine after a couple seconds and a bit of fiddling, but still.
*facepalm*
