Good call. If she hasn't seen them yet, I would also recommend Boondock Saints and Blade Runner. Then, for just comedy and Milla Jovovich goodness, I'd say The Fifth Element, Ultraviolet, and all three Resident Evil movies. :)

Actually, The Fifth Element is one of my favorite movies. I tried watching Resident Evil and I was scared shitless. Never did well in watching someone playing the video games either.
