OUR house
We have a house! We closed Thursday and started painting this weekend. Our original plan was to paint the whole house this past weekend and this week, then move next weekend. Then we bought all the paint and supplies for the kitchen/dining room and living room and decided we'd just do one or two rooms at a time...needless to say it was not cheap. And we have almost a whole gallon of paint left thanks to the Home Depot guy (who happened to really remind me a lot of Chris Shaw)who said not to worry about the extra space taken up by the cabinets, etc, on the wall. But anyway, these two rooms look SO great! Next month we'll hopefully do the spare bedroom and bathroom, then the office, and so on.
Ok, I should clarify sommething here. When I say "we" painted, by "we" I mean Daniel. As we learned after I helped Heather paint her bathroom, its better if I don't paint.
Anyway, so after this weekend we will be officially out of the apartment and in our new house. It's so exciting! Yea!! I'm so thankful to be in this place.
