Peru, or, Days Spent Wandering Up A Mountain (for sg1_daniel)

It was, she had to admit, a beautiful day.

Trudging along behind Daniel (because, really, that view was far more appealing than all the mountainsides in the world) she couldn't help but notice all the sounds and colours that were, it seemed, particular to Earth.  It was a far cry from being cooped up under a great big mountain, and no matter how many offworld sights she'd seen there was something about being outside on the planet that she - for now, at least - called home.

Her attention was briefly caught by a tiny, perfectly formed flower just to the side of the track and she stopped to take a closer look.

Before she knew it, Daniel had rounded a corner ahead.  Honestly, he had a one-track mind when he was focused on his precious archaeology - which was useful when she needed to distract him, for one reason or another, but really wasn't ideal right now.

"Daniel!"  She half-ran around the corner, catching up and grabbing at his waist from behind.  "Daniel, it's not polite to leave me behind when I choose to stop without you noticing."
