just a moment

another long day. another whole week of
overtime lies ahead. i have stayed up
too late. i guess i've started listening
to the woolshed sessions? i think i need
more time to read, and be a person.
the eight hours that were never ever quite
enough are lately even less so. and woops,
i've already missed one.
i know it sounds pretentious, but in another
life, if i were to write a book i think
i would sound a lot like delillo. which
almost makes it boring to read, but it's
just so good.

the doctor told me that there is nothing
wrong with me. my body keeps telling me
that the doctor is wrong.

and my body has also been telling me to
go to sleep for a couple hours, so, i'll
probably read a little, and then listen
to it.
