*sigh*
Mom + wine= really annoying. oh well.
So I got 30 hours of work this week... good to have a job back but its going to be a long summer.
Matt was talking last night about how he wanted to find a church to go to on sundays and it got me thinking for the entire ride home from easthampton about religion again. I seem to push it out of my head a lot of times and just forget its there because its never played a big part in my life. I've always sort of rejected the organized religion thing for a lot of reasons:
1) Never really knew what ccd was besides what i heard from the other kids at school... and i never went to church as a kid
2) I can't figure out how people can base their lives on a book of stories that may or may not be true, but i suppose believing in something like that means that nothing is concrete...
3) Theres been too many conflicts in religion about who is right and who is wrong... everybody thinking their religion is better than everybody elses... not cool
4) Isn't religion supposed to promote good will towards others? Why then are people like homosexuals persecuted for the way they were born? If they believe that God created everybody then why would they also say that homosexuality is evil.. they must have been created by God.. I dunno i don't think that that is right.
But I do still believe in God. I just believe that everybody should try to be good... and good to each other. So many people get so caught up in their own lives that they forget whats most important, even though it may be right in front of them. My parents for example... my mom has been stressed and has been smoking and i believe drinking a lil more than usual... and my parents don't exactly see eye to eye on a lot of things, but that never used to be a problem. Oh well, they'll figure it out sooner or later, maybe after Borsari Oil actually does die. Or like when I'm working at sears I can look around and there are just so many people who are so unpleasant that it can bring you down too. There are also the people who can talk to you for 2 min during your shift at work and you'll be in a better mood for having them as a customer.
That was kinda long =x... alrighty i'm out... probably going to drain my head by watching the tube.
