Bad/Stressful Day
Today started out an okay day. I woke up, went to work, blah blah blah. Anyways, for work today I had to drive to BRF then to Sparta then back to BRF to clock out. When I got to BRF I shut my car off, went inside to clock out and change, and then came outside to leave. Well, leaving was kind of impossible since my car wouldn't start!!!!!!!! :-( I was very upset!
I tried starting my car a few more times but it wouldn't even turn over. I finally went back inside to get somebody to jump my car. Well, that didn't work either! I was just getting more and more upset.
I got done with work about 2:15pm and I had to be to the elementary school in Merrillan at 3:10pm at the latest, I wanted to be there by 3pm (I wanted to get everything set up for my sister's Girl Scout meeting, I'm the leader). Anyways, after trying to jump my car and realizing it wasn't going to work, I was about to panick because I had about 15 minutes to make it to Merrillan and didn't have anything to drive. I couldn't just not show up, my parents are out of town so my sister would have panicked and I couldn't leave about 20 1st-3rd graders unsupervised. My friend that was working let me borrow his truck so I could get there and do the meeting. He's a lifesaver I don't know what I would've done if he didn't let me use his truck.
So, I went to the meeting (made pretty good time), did all that cool stuff, and then headed back to BRF with my sister to return my friend's truck. Needless to say my car wouldn't start when I got back.
Thankfully one of my managers knows somebody who works with cars and he was waiting for me when I returned. He looked at my car and said there was a bad connection, worked his magic, and got my car working! :-) I was so relieved.
I had one of the worst days of my life. I'm just glad my car is running now, but I'm not going to wait much longer to get a new one that's for sure! Well, that was my day...sorry it's so long.
