I Met Jason Schwartzman!!!
Tonight (actually last night because I couldn't post this until I got home) I went to a fan members only show for Rooney at The Echo. There were 2 opening bands The Chapin Sisters and Satisfaction. Both were good, but Satisfaction, I have to say, was better. They are one of my favorite Los Angeles bands. And Rooney, of course, was great.
But what was even better was that you could have a camera in the venue...so I got a lot of pics of the show. And the most exciting event of my night actually occured after the show. I met Jason Schwartzman (former Phantom Planet drummer and star of such movies as Rushmore) and Zooey Deschanel. I got a pic with Jason, but then security was making people get out of the venue because another event was on The Echo's schedual for tonight. But even so, I did get to meet him and get a pic with him, which truly made my summer. I have now met all the new and old members of the band Phantom Planet! Rock on!!!
