Tired

Quote of the Day:
D: Man, poor Poland, are they like the Korea of Europe or something?

So, a lot going on. I mean, there's the default "a lot" going on. I'm taking four classes. One is Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:40 to 9:30. That's blacksmithing. Jewelry sale didn't go well for me this year. Finally finished my purple barette though. It looks pretty snazzy, but it didn't for the sale because I got some stuff on it that caused it to oxidize funny and so it looked very dirty.

Oh well, I got stuff to work on. Donated blood on Wednesday between classes. Korean literature is going okay, though it seems my reputation precedes me. Or else I radiate some type of "good student" vibe. It oozes out my pores or something. Regardless, as I was walking down the hall a little late for class I got behind another professor who asked me if I was "the one with the Japanese degree?"

The two grad classes are busy. Both have weekly assignments due.

Indiana was very cold, and Wm's cousins were there with their combined total of five children. Though I managed to get out of it without a smack to the knees, but I did get my lunch a bit manhandled. I'm glad we went, it was good to see his Aunt Ruth one last time. The flights were impressively gentle. So much better than the flights to and from Florida. There were not as many children, either. Southwest is a great airline, but it was funny. There was a weather issue that may have required rerouting and people were making shocked noises when they announced Southwest did not feed you or put you up in hotels. Some people seem to have forgotten that Southwest is the original BUDGET airline.

Lots of people out sick or out of town at work this week. Way too busy.

Shows coming up are La Cerenetola on campus March 4 to 7. Avenue Q at Gammage March 9 - 14. Tempe Festival of the Arts March 26-28.

Here is how Valentine's will go down at our residence: on one day removed we go out for dinner. This time I requested "some place we've never been" as the only requirement. I think the plan is to go to the Burmese place in Scottsdale. On the day of I usually make a nice dinner. Usually lamb with twice baked potatoes and whatever vegetable is the current favorite.

Finally got my hands on some Mountain Dew Throwback, and it's good. But it's not like anything spectacular. Not like Pitch Black was. I miss Pitch Black.

It'll be good to be home for a weekend for a change.

work, school, cold, busy
