Quote of the Day:
D: Argh, I am so sick of classes. I'm not taking any summer classes. If anyone catches me signing up for summer classes I want them to tase me.
Sh: Can I hold you to that?
D: Yeah, sure, if I'm taking classes in the summer you can tase me like a
ten yead old girl.-or-
D: See, I can't talk to my internet audience.
W: You don't HAVE an internet audience!
So I managed to find a
few full tracks off of the new Brave Saint Saturn Album AntiMeridian and I was a bit disappointed. You can listen to those three and lead into the first track from the second album, The Light of Things Hoped For, and perhaps it's intentional but I just think that LTHF has a lot more complicated percussion line and in general more musical depth.
Quite honestly the preview of Anti-Meridian reeks of "my little brother's casio" to quote MST3k. Now, I understand that it wasn't recorded traditionally, so perhaps that's part of the problem. I was not fond of the first BS2 album, So Far From Home, feeling like it hadn't quite found it's place and had some hopes for AntiMeridian.
Oh well, saves me the money of having to hunt that sucker down.
Listening to some Coheed and Cambria they evoke a kind of angry BS2 with strings, maybe I'll have to look into that some more.
I think I am making cookies...oooooh let's see....December 5th is right before AZLA, December 12th is in finals...December 19th? That's cutting it close.
Homework time! Another assignment due tonight, one the 25th, and ...uhm I think I'm going to hurl.
