Quote of the Day:
G: What's "eviscerate" mean?
D: You don't ask someone with MY sense of humor what EVISCERATE means while they're holding a KNIFE!
The cat apparently has decided that he likes to sit on my memory foam pillow (and I got the good firm stuff too.) Last night I caught him with just his front on it, and now he's sitting with just his butt on it and his front arms swung over the side of the futon. But certainly on my memory foam pillow.
Maybe he forgot which of us is allergic to him and is trying to bully me into giving him some of my breakfast cheese.
Not happening.
I had critiques this week in both my art classes. Those went fine. I didn't like how my 3-d project turned out as far as craftsmanship but I think the design aspect of it was okay. I hope to do better on the next project. And barring that - I'm a DRAWING major - not a sculpture or ceramics or what the heck ever 3-d majors there are. And hopefully I'll learn something from the class that will ultimately help my drawing.
And then there's the fact that I need to, in my mythical "free time" be researching how to get into the MLS program. William thinks I should do it now, and now that I think about how long it may take to get INTO the program and then get through it and where I should want my career to be by then I think that he IS quite right.
Of course that doesn't change the fact that I go "But I wanted my art degree!"
I should drop art - (again! sob!) - and get the creative writing degree first. I am closer to that. Not the massive 50+ credits needed for art. Blah.
