(no subject)
so as you've probably read in caro's lj, her, alyssa and i are not moving into the house anymore. :( in fact, we are not planning to move in together at all. there were just too many conflicts. so now we are trying to get out of the contract. the landlord says he'll try to rent the place to someone else in august, and if he does, we are off the hook. it's a really good place, so im thinking he will succeed. so yeah, that's what's happening with that.
it still really sucks though. i really liked that house and wanted to move out so bad. i am still moving out though, but into residence at ottawa u. right now im assigned an apartment style residence in 157 Laurier, the new building, with another student. but gen (jon's gf) and i are now trying to get a room together. we've already contacted the university, so hopefully all this will be resolved soon. we'll be living in 157 Laurier or 90 University. so yeah, they are just small apartments right on campus. i would rather my own house (of course), but i had no other location options and i really do want to live with gen!
wednesday i was so stressed about the house situation, i just ended up skipping school and going to nate's for the day. after i met up with a whole bunch of ppl for STEPHO'S BDAY thing at zak's. go to will's lj for pics. it was pretty good :)
after school on thursday i worked 4 until close. got my first paycheck!!!!!!! 283$. sweet. haha, but it's all going to pay back my share of the deposit for the house. it's such a shame cause i have over 1000$ saved up now to move out, but i wont be using it until september. i guess this way i can save up more. or spend it on things i was to frugal too before. like SOUNDS OF THE UNDERGROUND. who's planning to go?! i cant find the post on PO about the bus/ticket package anymore. or maybe i could try to find a ride?
yesterday was my last "official" day of school. there's was a huge pic-nic outside at lunch. i got quite the sunburn :( we got our yearbooks! i love getting mine signed and stuff. :) and then there was the year-end pep rally, which is just really a series of skits and some goodbye speeches. it was really funny/good though. some people were crying near the end cause it was our final year at DLS. so yeah, this week is my exams and then im done!!!!!!!!! after school yesterday i worked 4 until close again and then went to nate's for the night. clayton was there! i havent seen him in a while. but i was feeling sick and tired, so not really social. sorry kids.
