Today is the day that I try to mow the yard. I'm hoping the ground is finally dry enough to allow it without totally messing things up.
Also, my car still won't start. I opened all the doors, hood, and trunk yesterday to let it dry. Pulled out all the garbage, hung a couple of air fresheners, pulled out the floor mats to dry. There is still water standing in my trunk and in the floors. My fuse panel was just barely under water, so I don't know if the problem is there or what. There is no water in my oil so I'm grateful for that. However, trying to start the car produces nothing. Not a sound, click, or beep. nothing power works (windows, locks, etc)
I have no money to do so, but I need to have it looked at to see if the problem is something simple.
My car doesn't qualify for the Cash for Clunkers program because it gets higher mpg's than the maximum limit. But if it doesn't work and I don't get those MPG's does it qualify? probably not.
And I doubt that with this program going on, I'll find a 'push, pull, or drag it in' program. I wonder what carmax would give me for it and if it would be enough to outright purchase something else, at this point I don't care what it is, just to have something that works.
