PUNK ROCK VENTURE BOX!

Oh my god, this was so much fun to make.
Have a slideshow!

For the ready_set_scrap challenge. The pitch - create a project using paint and tape.

This project idea came out of nowhere, and I'm really proud of it.

It started as a Peach Swisher Sweet Cigarillo box (of which i have tons). I coated it in black spray paint, and scratched various things into it. Lined the inside of the box with white sticker paper, torn into odd shapes and sizes.

Still on the inside I printed a black version of the Venture Bothers Logo on the white sticker paper and placed it in, cutting off the excess. Every bit of the sticker paper got covered in watercolor paint. The black ink on the sticker got coated with black watercolor paint just to give it the same look. Then the inside was coated with glitter glue.

On the outside, I put a white version of the logo on sideways, and cut it to allow the lid to open. I placed three gold foil stars across the massive white space of the skull's forehead to break it up. Two red foil stars stickers got custom cut to appear as eyes within the sockets.

Black duck tape was torn into small strips and used to create a line across the middle of the boxes sides. The line curved under the venture logo on the right side of the box and breaks up the solid black space of the bottom, though it will not often be seen.

I absolutely adore this thing
