The only scenario in which it's a loss is if she's completely gone.

I'm sure I probably still have self-esteem problems, but I'm not trying to be friends with her because it'll improve my self image or because I think I don't deserve better.

I care about her, and when she's in my life and not being unreasonable, then she's amazing.
