Have been meaning to wrtie an entry for some day,s but lately I've been anywhere but home. My Mom's house is upside down because she decided to start refurbishing the kitchen from scratch. This obviously means no cooking and no laundry- woops! In conclussion, I've asked my friends and acquaintances for political asylum, and I've arranged all my ( Read more... )

Yup, I've got to tell one positive thing of this whole refurbishing craze is that I had a quick response from the people I care about, and that was good for my ego...I even got an invitation to lunch for this whole week from a co-worker (not that I'm actually lunching with him for the whole week, 'cause that would be too abusive, but still!)!
Unfortunately, as I took the photographs with my cellphone, I forgot to take one of myself^^' You'll have to wait until my Mom uploads/sends me the pictures from the Christmas asado, in which you'll see me (miraculously) wearing a dress:P

Lemon ice cream and champagne sounds delicious. Oh man. I'm going to have to try this sometime. My house lost power for a week once and I had to do all of my laundry at a co-worker's apartment. All of our kitchen was electric, too. It's rough! It's a good thing that you have friends to make your refugee status a little easier ;)

I've never had a vegan muffin but I've had vegan donuts and cupcakes and they're all tasty. I have to remind myself that vegan doesn't equal healthy though, haha.

You have to, it's a classic!
In my case, I'm not that close to my co-workers, so I'm doing my laundry at my Dad's, though frankly it is quite uncomfortable, as he lives too far away, and I'm not seeing him so often right now due to his busy schedule...
And you're completely right! My friend Dani thought at first that by being vegan she would also get slimmer, but she's actually put on some weight!:P
