Survived Christmas!
And I hope y'all did as well (and by the look of some entries, many of you not only did survived, but had a great time!). In my case, Christmay Day (or more specifically, Christmas dinner/evening) was even better than Christmas Eve, which usually is the other way around. The asado went superbly (we eat our asses off!), and after it, my Mum, Vincenzo, Sebastian, Naty and Santiago (da 3 couples!) went for a cup of coffee (and for a walk too, so we could make a proper digestion^^'), which ended being a frappuccino at one of the multiple Starbucks that has invaded our city over the year:P To sum up, great dinner, great chat, and future promises of an encore. Awesome! In addition, my Dad has invited Sebastian to his house for a pool day this Sunday (because- of course- he couldn't be less than my Mum:P), so fortunately I can say 2011 seems like a great year for Sebastian's relationship with my parents^__^.
Adding more items to my previous gift list: a book by Felisberto Hernandez from Sebastian (an Uruguaian author, very promising!), a cosmetics bag and a body splash from Sebastian's Mum and Grandma, a fabulous checkered shirt from my Dad and a bag that contained a jar of raspberry jam, christmas pudding and an "alfajor" from my boss from the Cloisters Museum (that last one I didn't see it coming at all!). All in all, I must have been a very well behaved child this year:P
Went to the Police Boureau yesterday to have my passport done, along with my Dad's side of the family...apparently, there is a slightly chance of us going abroad the first week of February, but I'm not being optimistic until everything's booked, for my Dad has gained a reputation of not being capable of keeping promises when it comes to trips (for instance, he still owes me my sweet 15 trip, as he decided he wouldn't save up for it along with my Mum...hellooo, it's going to be 6 years since I turned 15!). Anyways, I'm going to have a passport, just in case:P.

Had formal job interviews! And went on holidays with Sebastian^__^ (ok, we went out just for a long weekend, but still, it counts!)

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My college friend Sol! She gave birth to Galo, who's already 4 months old. And Sebastian's aunt gave birth to Bruno, who's about to be a year old!

Nope.

None! Arghhhh!!!
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
Shouldn't it be "in 2011 that you lacked in 2009"? In that case...a trip o another country! LOL!
7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
August 14th- 16th (i.e. Sebastian and I's trip) and those 2 Hot Festival days...call me frivolous, but they were days to remember!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Got not only one, but two jobs!
9. What was your biggest failure?
Promised myself I'd start exercising, and failed miserably on that...not even tried^^'. Good news is I've already found a place mear my Mum's to take yoga lessons,a nd I'm starting next week!
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nope, other than one or two silly colds.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My notebook!:D
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Sebastian's, of course: he's been dealing with me another entire year, what more could I ever ask for? And my friends', Maka and Marcos.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
My Mum's, unfortunately. We had some really rough moments this year.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Books, college, and a bank account, in order to save:P

My trip with Sebastian!

Nope...I may be slightly bitchy and vent a lot, but I don't get to the point of hating...unless you've REALLY messed it up with me, of course:P

The Tartar Steppe, by Dino Buzzatti. But I have many runner-ups

The Dresden Dolls and Gogol Bordello!

From this year? Argentine movie "El hombre de al lado" ("The man next door", literally).

Turned 20, and went with some friends to have a couple of drinks.

Moving out of my Mum's for good? That would('ve) be(en) VERY satisfying...Unfortunately, Sebastian and I re still not (finantially) ready to take this step...

Same as 2009? Though this past few months I've been trying to make an effort and wear more dresses, as I do look better while being more girly girl:P

Benjamin Biolay. Definitely developed a crush on himxD
34. What political issue stirred you the most?
Oh my, we've had far to many to mention just one...I guess the big educational strike that we had (some colleges and many many high schools were closed for almost two months!), as it's connected to the lack of importance that our government gives to Education. And the Museum's Law, but for more personal reasons, of course:P
35. Who did you miss?
A couple of high school friends who I feel haven't been quite present this year, and unfortunately, I don't feel they're even trying to keep this friendship alive. Although this hurts me a lot, if this situation of me making all the effort to keep in touch continues, I'll stop giving a damn about them. Sad but true:/.
36. Who was the best new person you met?
Isa, Fran and Juan Cruz. Great co-workers, and really nice people to hang out with:D
37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2010.
I've got to stop giving chances or making efforts for people who won't appreciate the gesture anyway.
