EVENT: SG-1 Big Bang 2011
How does a heavy dose of Stargate SG-1 in your summer (winter, for those of you in the Southern hemisphere) reading list sound?
What if you could curl up with a nice, long (minimum 20,000 words) Daniel/Vala novel, listen to some specially selected tunes related to it, watch some creative fanvids, and ogle eye candy featuring your favorite pairing?
From May 22 to July 17, a lineup of artists will be providing the SG-1 fandom with fanworks of substantial length for you to savor at stargate_summer ; several authors have declared intent to write Daniel/Vala...
The mods will be collating authors' first drafts 31 March and then accepting claims from artists, fanmixers, and vidders for each story, so if you're looking for a media project to work on in May, take a peek, stake a claim and BANG IT UP.

- the epic incredible story of Vala pre-series and her I-can't-believe-it's not-steampunk homeworld where everyone speaks bastardized Spanish
- AU Daniel/Vala, follows canon until Season 10 episode Line In The Sand. Vala is taken to Adria's ship to begin her conversion (*may be taking a rain check for this year, but intends to finish so maybe we should stalk her)
- Daniel/Vala, action/adventure; NC-17: "Daniel & Vala face a renegade Ori Prior" (coughselfpimpcough)
