What are the best episodes to watch that focus a good bit or solely on the Daniel/Vala relationship? I know...I'm super later to the party.

Prometheus Unbound, Avalon 1 and 2, Origin, The Ties That Bind, The Powers that Be, and Beachhead, Flesh and Blood, The Pegasus Project, Memento Mori, The Quest 1 and 2, and Unending would be my recommendations, but it's hard to narrow it down. If you have time and access, I would say just watch every episode that they're both in because every scene that they're together in seems to push their arc forward.

Hai! Sooo glad you're into this pairing now. (I searched out this community because of you :p)

notadate's recommendations are spot-on. People also tell me that Ark of Truth (the first DVD movie) has some shippy moments. I wouldn't know 'cause I kinda lost the DVD soon after I got it. Still haven't found it. :(

There are probably 4 super-episodes for those (that have already been mentioned): Prometheus Unbound (S8), Avalon 1-2 (S9), Memento Mori (S10), and Unending (S10). Aside from those, I like Counterstrike, The Quest Pt 2, The Powers That Be, and Dominion. I think each of those offers some really nice beats in their relationship :)

Well...Stef pretty much covered it.

My personal favourite is Memento Mori. It's one of my favourites.

For some reason, I also really like Counterstrike. There's loads of little D/V moments in that episode. it's just so fun to watch.

I honestly just love the whole of Season 10. There's so many D/V hints in it.

And congrats on becoming a D/V shipper! Lmao. I found out about the ship pretty late too...but I love it so much! (:
