This came about from a question about The Scene we were poised. Me and little_giddy meant to write a short comment length answer, but as usual our thoughts and love for Daniel/Vala couldn't be contained. So we thought: might as well make proper post on it. (The link is to our comm where all our co-writes and the such will live from now on.)
