Summary: An AU Stargate world. It's the Stargate world we know and love, but not. The characters and the relationships are the same, but not. It's an adventure, a romance, an epic because it's looking to be long, and it has comedy well, at least I hope. It's a little bit of everything that we love about Stargate. It is a meshing of practically every sci-fi fandom I've enjoyed. It's Daniel and Vala centric. , but it's also a team story; a friendship story. I hope you all enjoy. This is a slightly darker world, but just because we are surrounded by darkness does not mean there is no light.
A/N: This and the next chapter have a lot of references and some pilfered dialogue from “Arthur’s Mantle” - the explanations are just so much smarter than anything I would have ever come up with. And there’s also a stolen line from another sci-fi show… :D put in purely for my amusement and yours.
