White Collar Fic - I love the night time
Title: I love the night time

A/N: This is my first time writing about Bugsy and from Bugsy's point of view. Please let me know what you think. I have expended a little bit of what I originally wrote for the promptfest.

Bugsy loves night time. That's when it’s all quiet and it’s just perfect for exploring the house and visiting his favorite friend Neal. One of the best parts is when it’s really late and he can visit Neal up on the top floor. He likes Neal because Neal talks to him late at night in that lovely gentle voice of his. Not to mention Neal is always there with a treat and a good scratch behind the ears while talking to him. It is great listening to Neal and watching him doing stuff.
At times Neal would get some strange things splashed on him while doing stuff. Neal calls it painting which Bugsy does not understand at all but Neal’s seems the happiest doing that and when Neal is happy so is Bugsy. If Bugsy is lucky he can hear Neal make beautiful noises called singing while he paints, along with some beautiful noises called music coming from the small box in the corner of the room.
Bugsy also noticed sometimes Neal looks very forlorn and sad. At these times Bugsy observed there is no painting and there is no beautiful noises coming from Neal or the box in the corner. When Neal is sad, Bugsy is sad. Bugsy tries to show Neal everything is going to be ok. He tries to be there for Neal, especially when he feels wetness on his fur when being hugged tight by Neal. On nights like that Bugsy would sleep on Neal’s bed to keep him company. He knows when he is needed by Neal and he wants to be there for him.
Nowadays, Bugsy still love to visit Neal at night time. He still gets a talk, a good scratch and a treat on his nightly visits. He still gets to see Neal do his usual stuff but Bugsy does not sleep on Neal’s bed anymore. Neal has Peter now. It is Peter that sleeps on Neal’s bed with him now, not Bugsy. Neal has Peter to keep him company now at night time and Bugsy is alright with that. Peter makes Neal happy and Peter makes Neal smile. Bugsy is happy to see Peter at night time now; Peter is part of his pack.
Bugsy really loves night time when he knows his pack is happy and safe.
