Notes: What can I say my first baby steps to writing fanfiction. This is my first piece ever. I saw this prompt from whitecollar100 and it just would not leave me alone. Ok I am going hide in embarassment now seeing that I have so many great authors on my flist.

30 pieces of silver. That is how much it took for Peter to betray their wedding vows. Peter, her honest to goodness, by the book husband had deceived her. At least he had the decency to admit his betrayal to her face today.
Was she surprised? No.
Did she see it coming? Probably.
Should she have known? Maybe.
Was she mad at Peter? Surprisingly, no.
Did it hurt? No one bit.
Was she in denial? Not at all.
Not when the 30 pieces of silver came in the form of one Neal Caffrey, the object of Peter’s long held obsession.
