This is awesome! her_lovelyheart said a lot of what I want to, but I'll add some more.

Couple of parts I loved. The counting points. Not only is it hilariously cute and so Daniel, it's also a lovely carryover from M:FI because I recall him mentioning points right at the beginning of that, too.

The whole flirty, giggly tone of this made me smile through the whole thing. I especially enjoyed the way Daniel decides that he's allowed to flirt with her now, and she will accept it. How cute is that? Honestly, I could squish these two.

The birthdat present is absolutely perfect. It's pricey but also very personal and thoughtful, which is exactly the type of gift I think Daniel would give. I think he needs to drop some cash before he feels like he gave a gift that's to his potential.

You are far more passionate than the average person, with - okay, I’m just reading what they say here - with sensual energies greater than you have yet realized, though the stars suggest that a further, um, awakening is imminent

MADRID. I love this part. I can just imagine the tension, and Betty's voice as she's reading this. It's very telling that she doesn't skip over it, but instead plunges on ahead and reads it out loud, knowing how it will probably affect Daniel. She's living up to the horoscope telling her that she's got a deeply senual side. In fact, this whole scene bubbles with sexiness just under the surface. Really well done. That last line melted me a little like it did Daniel.

And bonus points for bringing up Trista! You know I love her! :P

Yay, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Your prompt was definitely inspirational. :D You just know Daniel overanalyzed every single second between arriving in London and hooking up with Betty. This flirty in-between period for them is really delicious to think about!

I definitely want to do more with the idea of Betty AND Daniel sort of discovering a lot more about themselves by discovering each other as lovers -- there's a story I'm going to start working on about that soon -- but other stuff first.

I'm glad the prompt worked for you! I am so in love with the idea of them flirting and bantering and stirring up some UST--basically all that good stuff we barely saw on screen. And of course Daniel's brain was on hyperdrive the whole time--I think he's probably a bit of a girl when it comes to overanalyzing the behaviour of his object of affection.

This upcoming story...out of curiosity, I assume the rating will be nice and high? In which case, \0/! (God, I sound like such a perv, but these two were so damned wholesome together on screen that it makes me want to see them 'in action' even more)
