update on AZ
I heard from Arizona today. It's official- I got my acceptance letter to the school & the media arts program as well as my financial aid package. I got $10,000 in scholarships and $16,000 in loans. The cost of going there (including tuition, room&board, travel, books, misc., etc.) is about $26,000 (about the same as QU's tuition alone)...so my financial aid pretty much covers all expenses. Sooo I'm paying about $16,000 a year instead of $30,000...and its only in loans...not too bad.
So just wanted to let everyone know that I'm pretty much gone. How can I not take advantage of this? Yes, I'm sad I'll be on my own so far away and Jess won't be joining me like I thought she would....yes, I'll admit I am scared shitless....but I think I can do it and I think it's for the best.
