I Pulled a Damon and Became Cursed
I was really happy today.
Besides pulling a Johnny Damon and being a traitor as I attended a Yankee's Game with a bunch of Yank fans...and despite the rainy morning and cloudy day...the trip was pretty worthwhile...
We all got up early to head off to NY. I paid $10 for the ride, the game, and lunch...not a bad deal if you ask me. We headed off on our 2 hour ride and on the bus the person who put this all together had some Yankee memorabilia to give away. She pulled out a Yankee's hat and as I sat with Shannon, the only other Sox fan, I said "watch one of us get it just cuz we dont like Yankee's"....so yup, "danielle" was the first name she called. Sweet...free hat....free yankee's hat lol....it was a really nice hat so it's kind of disappointing that I will never actually really be able to wear it...however, i did wear it all day just because I wanted to get use out of my hat before giving it to one of the girls (true Yank fans).
We got to Yankee Stadium as it stopped raining. We dried off our nosebleed section seats (actually pretty good cuz we could see the entire field perfectly)...the game didn't drag on at all and was actually pretty fun. I have to admit although Damon is a traitor, he's still damn good. The sun even ended up coming out a little towards the end. I wanted to cheer for the Orioles...but honestly they suck so bad I couldn't even pretend to like them....Yankees ended up winning 7-1.
So I obviously took a lot of pictures. I'd love to show you them....but unfortunately my camera is M.I.A......I know, *Gasp!*...I am very upset about it...cuz not only is my camera missing, but I happened to put $30 and my IDs in the case along with it and all have mysteriously disappeared. I didn't notice til I was off the bus and wanted to buy some dinner with my Q-Card...soo hopefully it just fell out on the bus....hopefully because my camera is pretty much my life....and i have absolutely nooooooo money to spare, nevermind lose and then pay to replace IDs....
So the day started off okay...I was happy that I got such a deal on the entire day and witnessed a good game....then it ended pretty much extremely shitty (happy almost birthday to me woo!)
Let's just Hope i find it. (this is my punishment for wearing that damn yankee's hat)
