Snow Day/my godparents to listen to Jubilee for the first time/MY DIET IS RUINED! I hope your happy!
Today we had our first big snowstorm of the month. It kinda sucks cause the stupid weather man said that we would only have afew snow showers here and there, nothing too big. But when I woke up this morning, IT WAS LIKE A WINTER WONDERLAND!
But that did not stop my godparents from taking me out to lunch today! ^_^ I wore lolita for the first time around them and they seem to like it. It makes me happy because Heaven knows that not all of my family has been as welcoming as they have been to my new change of style and intrests. This is the first time I have seen them since Anime USA (they helped me alot to make sure I could actually go this time I'm grateful to them both) so we had alot to talk about regarding my trip.
For some reason, my uncle (that's what I call my god father) is always interested in all the music that I listen to and usually starts the conversation with "Got any new music, Jas?" And since it was snowing hard and we had to really take our time driving today, we had even more time to listen. Today the only music I had was my new Jubilee album. My uncle already sort of likes metal (especially the stuff from the 80's) so it was all good. Although, he did seem kind of upset that he could not understand the lyrics.
The following is an actual transcript of how our conversation about Versailles PQ went down after about 5 tracks in. Under normal circumstances, I would be totally pissed/offended after having this conversation but my aunt and uncle are just so cool about everything and so funny that I will forgive them.
Uncle: So who is this band?
Me: They are called Versailles Phillanormic Quintet
Uncle: Cool name but I only see pics of 4 people in this booklet.
Me: *Eyes begin to water, he gets the message*
Aunt: Versailles is such a cool name, I actually went to Versailles once...
Me: Yeah, here is a pic of all the members. *takes out a pic from the back of one of my Cure Magazines*
Aunt: They are beautiful. Just like dolls. Especially this one *points to Jasmine You* Absolutly gorgeous! *hears slight envy in her voice*
Me: ^_^
Uncle: Just tell me this, Jas. Are these ppl all guys.
Me: *Iritated silence, they don't get the message and proceed to make this a guessing game*
Aunt: Ooh! This one is a boy. And he's soooo cute! *points to Teru*
Uncle: That little boy looks young enough to still be in high school!
Me: *Sligltly less ititated and slightly amused* You know An-chan (What I call my sister, her full name is Angela) would not be happy to hear you say that. She has a big crush on him.
Uncle: I don't care! It's true!
Aunt: Ok, I got it, these three are guys I know *points to Teru, Jasmine, and Kamijo*
Uncle: So it's 3 guys 2 girls?
Me: *shocked* HE IS A GUY! *points to Yuki* I can't believe you thought he was a girl!!!
Uncle: My mistake. Anyway, this one HAS to be a girl. *points to Hizaki* And she's kinda hot too! *whistles*
Aunt: *Glares at my uncle* Hey!
Uncle: Oh! Uh.... sorry... but she is very beautiful. And a nice guitarist to boot!
Me: *trying SO DAMN HARD to hold back my laughter*
Uncle: what is it?
Me: Uh... Uncle Cliff... uh... Versailles are ALL men. INCLUDING Hizaki. *Thinking* UNCLE CLIFF, YOU FUCKING FAIL! XD
Uncle: O_o
Aunt: *Laughing hysterically*
Uncle: Still O_o
Me: *now joining her in the laughter* Sorry to dash your fantasies.
Aunt: HA! HA! THAT'S WHAT YOU GET!!!
Me: But BEYOND THAT isn't he beautiful?
Uncle:....
Me: Well... isn't he an awesome guitarist??
Uncle: I'll give you that.... I'm going to need something to drink when we get to the restraunt.
Aunt: *Still laughing*
Me: Meh.... XD
But all in all they seemed pretty inpressed with their music and my aunt even requested that we play "The Umbrella of Glass" twice on repeat! That made me very happy, I CONVERTED 2 MORE PEOPLE! EPIC WIN! ^_^ We ended up going to the Cheesecake Factory. I have not been there in ages so it was nice!
But on the downside, I have been trying to eat better and this past month I actually thought I was doing well. I ate alot of fruits and vegitables and drank almost only water most of this month. I even did my best to try and pick something calorie-consious-friendly off the menu for my entree. But like the restraunts title implies, we had cheesecake for dessert! They literally had almost 3 whole pages devoted to different cheesecakes in addition to other standard desserts!
I tried my best but in the end I ended up choosing a piece of "Godiva Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake". See? Doesn't the title just scream "over 300 calories" or "Kiss that dress you were eying on Bodyline goodbye!" or "Just totally ruin 30 days of hard work in 1 hour why don't ya?!" ?! GAWD I FUCKING FAIL!!!!!!! >_<
I'm going to take a nap now but the minute I wake up, I gotta do some kind of areobics! Seriously I promised myself that I would be down at least a size and a half by Anime Mid Atlantic and I plan to carry through with that damnit! But all in all it was a very nice day! :-)

The person is a bride, and the costume is in relation to the play "Hamlet".
