Everywhere I go today there's an atmosphere of quiet astonishment. Part of that it undoubtedly due to the fact that in the middle of the coldest winter for several years it's not pleasant getting up to watch a 5am game. Most of it is due, I think, to the fact that nobody really thought we'd get through the pool. Cool though!
It's kind of like Eurovision - you cheer for a country that your ancestors came from, or fleetingly visited - it's loads of fun but not too devastating when they don't actually win :)
