Terry Pratchett
Took the children out of school today to listen to Terry Pratchett talk about, then sign, his books. My girl likes his stuff, as does her father who does a wonderful job reading Wee Free Men aloud!
I figured a real live author was far more educational than school :) If I didn't think home-schooling my two would lead to homicide they'd not go. Ever.
TP is loads of fun and very down to earth. And very popular, the lecture theatre was packed overflowing.
Maybe one day I'll be able to go listen to TBQ or Eloise or Jane or LG or Xanthe or ... (I wonder if they do do X rated book tours?)
