Hadn't had a chance until now to watch this movie, and so far I'm liking it. The Lolita visuals are really rich.
Now back to the movie.....will she join the gang????

Hey Dani, I'm thinking of obtaining a dress form. Since you're in the business and know most of the odds and ends, what do you think may be my cheapest option? Student funds are very low.... If you could help me out, I'd appreciate it^^ Hope you had a happy new year.

Eventually I got hooked up with the three big brands: Diana, My Double and Singer.
Singer is the least expensive (CAD$160), and I haven't noticed them being behind the other ones in quality or features.
If that's still too steep for your current budget, I still have a used one in consignement from my sewing teacher that you are welcome to come and see.

Yeah, my budget is lower than $160 :( I have no problems with a used one. How much would you be thinking of giving the used one up for? And what is the size? I can come check it out too if need be :) It sorta dawned on me a few weeks ago that I'm going to need a dress form more then ever this year. Thanks, Dani!

I think checking it in person is the best way. The price I was told to ask for is reasonable, but it won't mean much until you look at it.
BTW: It is the one in the last picture, at the very bottom of http://www.cosplaysupplies.com/wonderflex/WonderflexFAQ.html holding the famous nine tails.
