so bored i'm updating. wow.
i'm in denver. sleeping nightly on an air mattress in the living room of my mom's itty-bitty apartment, under an east-facing window. which means that regardless of how much i would like to stay blissfully and obliviously passed out until 2 in the afternoon, i cannot sleep past 9:30 because i would roast alive. but that's ok, really, because my mom wakes up at 6 but then falls asleep reading the newspaper by 9. so it's quiet.
i miss school. i like being busy, i like having people around whose company i enjoy fairly consistently, i like working toward something. i keep having to remind myself that there IS a reason i'm in denver, i WILL be gaining experience with kids' intervention programs, and i SHOULD be enjoying the peace, quiet, and solitude that i can get over at the park nearby, even if i can't actually get it here.
speaking of which... i think it's time to run away for the day.
