Deathly Hallows Launch
I went to a midnight release...10 hours early.
At first I was the only one in the que sitting outside for about 2 hours, in Hogwarts uniform. This was until my mate Jennie and her little sister showed up about 1.45 hours since i'd been there and we were told that quing was now indoors because the floods (oh my gods the floods. We couldn't get out of school for ages from flood. knee deep puddles and an hour detour home from school although I live 5 mins down the road). So, Poonum was also in Croydon and visited me while I was on the street, and came to see us.
Soon after we sent Jennie to go get food and we had a picnic of crisps and cookies and fruit, with fizzy orange. It was good. Then Niamh joined us after she came back from a meeting, and she ate some. We made friends with some chavs and gave then some chicken, because we got some free from a closing resturant but we are all vegitarian. Jennie brang her guitar, and we jamed/ she taught Niamh how to play Hedwigs theme, and I taught everyone how to crouqet. Poonum and her friend Seema then joined us for a while and then left and came back in time when we ordered the pizza (9ish), which they wouldn't deliver so Jennie and Niamh went to pick it up. Bella came as Tonks shortly after the pizza arived (and Niamh was a ravenclaw). After pizza and old friend of mine Emma was at Waterstones (and we were at Smiths) so we went to go see her (he boyfriends niece had won a prize to be the first one to get it there). We had a chat and a camera man saw us and interviewed us (because the costume). Bella was so excited because last time we were in the paper and she wanted to be pap-ed this time. We made friends with the Waterstone people, who recognised me from out side of Smiths hours previously.
Back in our own line soem more press came with cameras and we were photographed. Then with only a few mins to wait, a girl had won the book first and was cutting the ribbon but because of our hard core dedication, me, Jennie, her sister, Niamh and George were let in early. We were then photoed many-a-time with the girl cutting the ribbon in various poses, and as soon as the was midnight we were the first to get our copies. XDXDXD
Now, that's enough updating for one day. Tomorrow I'll probs update with what I thought of the book.
